It Lives!

It’s official, I’ve gotten the core component of EDB to compile on Vista!

It took a lot of effort and to be honest, some working around various compiler bugs. But step #1 has been completeled. Next I’ll have to port the “DebuggerCore” plugin, and it should be smooth sailing from there. I plan to have Win32 support before calling it 1.0, we’ll see. I hope to have more updates soon :) .

    Hi,
I just wanted to know, that your work on EDB seems awesome! I found it today, downloaded it, and compiled… I fell in love… at first sight!

I hope you keep up this great work, and get around to a 1.0 release.

My blogpost today about EDB: http://www.gamelinux.org/?p=36

    Thanks,

Do you know how to disable ALSR in Windows 7? I tried the vista method with registry edits(or DLL header 0×40 patches etc), but it does not work in Windows 7. Your debugger will have this ALSR problem too when people start using it in Windows 7. Thanks

I just downloaded your EDB at freshmeat, only to know that you have the latest one in your personal page.

But I just wondering, when Ubuntu will include your debugger.. I just need apt-get then :)
